What Is Custom Tour Planning?
Custom tour planning is a one-on-one consultation service where we work directly with you to design your trip itinerary. You tell us how many people are in your group, how many days you have, what you are most interested in, and what your budget looks like. We take that information and put together a detailed, realistic plan built around your group’s priorities.
We know the Medellin and Guatape area well. We run tours here every day. That means we can tell you what works best for certain group sizes, which experiences are worth the extra time, how to avoid the crowds, and what the common mistakes first-time visitors make. You get the benefit of that experience without having to learn it the hard way.
Who Is This Service For?
This service is a good fit for groups of all sizes. We can accommodate groups of up to 18 people, which means it works just as well for a small group of four friends as it does for a larger family or corporate group.
It is especially useful if:
- You are visiting Medellin for the first time and are not sure where to start
- You have a large group and need help coordinating transportation, activities, and timing
- You want a mix of our tours and your own independent activities and need help fitting them together
- You have specific interests (history, food, adventure, nightlife, nature) and want recommendations beyond the basics
How Our Custom Trip Planning Works
The service is billed at 100,000 COP for up to 1 hour (approximately $27 USD) of custom trip planning, reserved on an as-needed basis. The 100,000 COP covers up to an hour, any additional time would be an additional 100,000 COP per hour and would need to be pre-approved and pre-paid by the customer beforehand.
We start with a conversation about your trip. From there, we build out an itinerary together, suggest the right tours and transportation options for your group, and answer any questions you have along the way. If you decide to book any of our tours or private transportation as part of your plan, we handle all of that as well.
