Guatape Tour Schedule
Enjoy the fun and beauty of Guatape. We will take you to this colorful lake town (approx 2.5 hours from Medellin) in a private vehicle with a private driver and bilingual guide. Climb all 750+ steps of El Penol, take a 1-hour boat ride and tour of the lake, tour the town of Guatape, and see La Finca de Manuela.
The only additional costs would be optional upgrades: Jetskis, Paintball, Helicopter Rides, Additional Time for Water Sports, 4-Wheelers/Razrs, Touring La Finca de Manuela (Pablo Escobar’s lake mansion)
Your group will be picked up by a private driver and guide in car or van, at your hotel/Airbnb.
Our tours start at 8am, because it can take a few hours to get to Guatape.

Our first stop near Guatape is El Peñón de Guatapé, the huge rock known for it’s 740 step staircase. If you want to climb to the top, they charge 40,000 COP ($10.25) for entrance (not included).

Guatape Activity #1
Explore the peaceful, traditional town of Guatape’s streets lined with beautiful Zocalos (you’ll see!). Explore shops, street vendors, a charming plaza, beautiful cathedral, and learn the history of this quaint lakeside town.

As an optional upgrade, tour La Finca de Manuela (Pablo Escobar’s old lake mansion), learn the history, ride Razrs/4-wheelers of Jeeps, paintball, and other activities. See it for free, but to tour it and the ground costs an additional 40,000 COP ($9.85) per person.

Take a helicopter ride above the amazingly beautiful Guatape. See El penol from the sky, and fly around the town like a bird. This upgrade is approximately $99/person for groups of 4.

The Guatape Tour price depends on the group size and how big of a van your group needs. Please keep in mind this is a private tour including private transport, driver and bilingual guide. Guatape is approximately 2 or 2.5 hours from Medellin (depending on traffic)

The difference between us and the others is with us you take a private vehicle with a private driver for just your group. You will also have a private bilingual guide, and your private boat will be waiting when your group is ready for your private lake tour.
