This glamping site may be located inside a city rather than out in nature, but it still feels like an oasis of calm.
Entrepinos
Located in Ubaque, prices start at $270,000 pesos per night for two people (with a 20% discount on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday bookings). It’s only 1.5 hours away from Bogota, so it’s easily accessible for those who don’t care for remote locations. Guests can choose a teepee or a “moon” dome, both of which come with luxurious beds, private bathrooms, and catamaran meshes. Parking and breakfast are also included.
Nativo Glamping
Located in Barichara, prices start at $247,000 pesos per night for two people. They focus on family-friendly glamping, with activities available like rafting, cave exploration, astronomy workshops, baking courses, and ecological walks. Included in the basic rate is hotel insurance, a private bathroom, a queen-sized bed, continental breakfast, and planting a tree. Guests can also bring a third person for their tent for an extra $50,000 pesos, as well as their pets.
Cielo Escondido
Located in Santa Elena, prices start at $120,000 pesos per night for two people. This applies to their teepees, which come with double beds and spectacular views. Located in Vereda Montaño, Villamaria, prices start at $350,000 pesos per night for two people. This glamping site sites at 2,850 meters above sea level, in the Central Cordillera of the Andes Mountains. Bird watchers love this site, as they can spot dozens of species in the area. Located in Santa Elena, prices start at $300,000 pesos per night for two people. If you’re looking for an ecological refuge where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, this would be a great option. For the introductory price mentioned above, you’ll get a private glamping site either inside or adjacent to the forest; breakfast, lunch, and dinner; a guided ecological walk; and unlimited coffee. There are also hammocks, campfire areas, and walking paths to enjoy. Plus, you can bring your pets along too! If you’re interested in exploring the surrounding cities, Medellin is just a short drive away; you could make a day trip of it, and enjoy a couple of Medellin tours before you return to the idyllic forest.
Bajo el Cielo
Located in Vereda Montecillo, Guatavita, prices start at $230,000 pesos per night for two people. The rooms are built according to eco-friendly principles, and have a minimalist vibe. The most affordable option is their “eco-tent”, which comes with access to the jacuzzi and common areas. According to the glamping site, the eco-tent is ideal for sharing with a group or for meeting people. Pets are allowed, and while WiFi isn’t available in the sleeping areas, there is a common area where guests can connect to the internet. Activities are available to enjoy (at an extra cost); these include guided tours of the Guatavita and Siecha lagoons, paragliding, and sailboat rides.
Balorka
Located in Cali, prices start at $300,000 pesos per night for two people. You can stay in their custom-built domes, which include air conditioning, WiFi, a private bathroom, access to a natural pool, and a terrace. All guests are treated to dinner on the day they arrive, plus breakfast and lunch on the next day. Common areas are equipped with tables, chairs, and parasols for a relaxing time in the shade.
